Oooh! This looks pretty far on the map. What were we thinking? About 10,000 miles of fun, we guess, unless Mark wants to turn back early after having a heavy lunch at the Hawkins Pac-Out on the way out of town!
We are under the impression that we are ready. Our stops will include Nelson, BC, Banff, AB, Yellowknife, NWT, Inuvik, NWT, Deadhorse, AK, Healy, AK, Kennicott, AK and a bunch of other places.
We have a lots of friends helping hold down the fort and take care of the pooches while we are gone, including Ali, our house sitter, Elaine, the minister of finance, and Emily, greenskeeper extraordinaire.
Off to Elk City, Idaho tomorrow, hoping for some fishing in New Meadows along the way.
