The Selway to Thompson Falls, Montana

Big day. More rivers. Rode to the Lochsa Lodge, and up over Lolo Pass. Stopped in Missoula for lunch and provisions.

We couldn't get out of Missoula soon enough--don't get me wrong, I like the old, funky part of town, but the new "anytown USA" strip mall section is frightening! North we went on Hwy 93 to 200, where we turned west. The ride from there was spectacular, first along the Flathead River and then along the Clark Fork.
Camped at Thompson Falls. More swimming.

  1. Hey--that guy you're traveling with--he's kinda cute--does he have a brother...

I'm envious of your adventure already. Super Sherpa is whining in the garage!

  2. love the haircut, Mark. Julia is already concerned about you being gone from your dogs so long. I think she's ready to hitchhike to Boise to take them in. :)
