Icefields Parkway to Big Berland CG

We continued along the Icefields Parkway. Tons of glaciers, waterfalls, and bears!! This is a photo of Athabasca Falls.

The Canadians have it figured out. The speed limit slows in areas of heavy wildlife...

Here is a happy little family of bighorn sheep...
This sighting was preceded by Mark's purchase of kippered snacks in Jasper, not 20 minutes earlier. Oh dear...
The scenery north of Jasper was grand...one massive mountain after another. Continued on 16 North to 40. Camped on the banks of the Berland river, home of bull trout. Despite our best efforts, no fish were caught. Thunderstorms overnight.
Odometer: 1427 miles
